Hazardous Waste Disposal

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, in collaboration with the Multi-Materials Stewardship Board (MMSB), is dedicated to responsible waste management and environmental stewardship. To further this commitment, we’ve established a Household Hazardous Waste Depot to ensure the safe disposal of hazardous materials within our community.

What Is Considered Household Hazardous Waste?

Household hazardous waste encompasses a wide range of materials that can be harmful to our health and the environment if not disposed of properly. Our depot accepts the following types of hazardous materials:
