13th Council Releases Statement on Public Safety
Earlier today, the 13th Town Council met via Zoom with Premier Andrew Furey, MHA Perry Trimper and Minister of Justice and Public Safety, Bernard Davis. Premier Furey advised the 13th Council that the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay has been allocated additional enforcement resources to assist with public safety.
Residents are urged to keep their homes, garages, sheds and vehicles locked. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity, or if you are the victim of a crime, by calling the RCMP at 709-896-3383 or calling 911.
The Province is continuing to work towards developing short and long term plans to address public safety brought forward by Residents. The Town will continue to keep Residents informed as information becomes available.
