🔔Traffic Advisory: Emergency Water Repair On White Crescent

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising residents that the Water and Sewer staff will be working on an emergency water repair on White Crescent today, June 11th, 2026.

The water will be shut off to all of White Crescent at 9:30 AM, and work will continue until completed.

Street access may be limited; detour and traffic signage will be in place. The public is encouraged to exercise caution, obey the signage instructions and be aware that heavy equipment will be working in this area.

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

The 14th Council of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is pleased to release the Audited Financial Statements for the period ending December 31, 2025. These financial statements were released on 2nd June, 2026, by the Town’s auditor following the special meeting of the council to adopt them.

2026 Spring Cleanup Program

Release Date: May 5, 2026

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Department of Public Works is advising the public that its Annual Spring Cleanup Program will start on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

✅Litter Collection will start on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, with Town workers collecting litter throughout the community and will continue until it is completed.

Bulk Residential Waste Roadside Collection will start on Monday, June 2, 2026, according to the following schedule (subject to change):

✅Valley Area: June 2 to June 12
✅Hamilton Heights (MOT) Area: June 15 to 17
✅Spruce Park & North Side (Cdn Side): June 18 to 19

If you get missed, please call the town and we will arrange to pick up your waste on June 22 and 26.

*Dates are subject to change depending on the quantities of materials placed roadside by residents.
