SEWER CLEANING UPDATE September 29, 2026
| The Town of Happy Valley – Goose Bay wishes to inform residents that the Public Works and Water and Sewer Departments will continue using a high-pressure vacuum truck to clean the sewer mains in the following area, beginning Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 9:30 AM. Grenfell Street and Hamilton River Road Intersection The public is advised to use caution when approaching or passing the vacuum truck, as there will be staff on the ground operating it, and staff may be walking to and from forward manholes. Delineators and pylons will be placed around working vehicles, and traffic control will be on the street to help with the flow of traffic. If a resident experiences trouble with their sewers during this time, please notify the town hall at 709-896-3321. Planned work in this area will continue until complete.
