BOIL WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is reminding all residents and businesses that the town-wide Boil Water Advisory originally issued on September 14, 2026, remains in effect until further notice.

The advisory was initiated by the Water & Sewer Department following a matching advisory from 5 Wing Goose Bay. Municipal water quality is being continuously monitored, and the order will remain active until the reason for issuing the advisory has been corrected and the following criteria have been met:

1.    One (1) set of satisfactory bacteriological water samples are obtained (absence of total coliform and absence of E. coli per 100ml of sample) from both areas.

2.    Satisfactory free chlorine residual is maintained at the entry to the distribution system.

3.    Free chlorine residual is detectable & maintained throughout the distribution system.

The public will be notified once this advisory is lifted.
