E J Broomfield Arena

Many indoor community events, recreation and sporting activities take place in the Broomfield Arena. The facility can accommodate approximately 643 people in the bleachers and standing room for 80 for ice event. The Arena can accommodate 1900 people when the ice surface is covered with a floor.

This facility is host to many major events such as the Labrador Winter Games and the Expo Labrador Trade Show, as well as concerts. The Town’s Department of Community Services and Recreation operates the arena which includes a 26 x 56 m sized rink, locker rooms and conference room. The office of the Director of Community Services and Recreation is located at the arena.
