🌞 2026 Summer Recreation Program – Registration Opens today for week 1!
The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is excited to welcome children back for another fun-filled season of our Comunity Services and Recreation Summer Recreation Program!
Returning again this year, the program offers 8 weeks of engaging activities designed to keep children active, social, creative, and entertained throughout the summer in a safe and supervised environment.
We are also excited to introduce a NEW Half-Day Sports Camp for older youth, featuring a different sport focus each week.

SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM
Participants can look forward to:
• Outdoor games and activities
• Sports and recreation
• Creative arts and crafts
• Team-building activities
• Special theme days
• Structured programming balanced with free play
Each week is carefully planned to encourage teamwork, creativity, confidence, and opportunities to make new friends while exploring new interests.
Program Information:
• Location: E.J. Broomfield Arena
• Ages: 7–11 years old
• Dates: July 6th – August 24th, 2026
• Program Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Drop-off: 7:45 AM
• Pick-up: 4:30 PM
• Maximum Registration: 50 participants
Program Fees:
• $125/week – First child
• $110/week – Second child
• $100/week – Each additional child under the same caregiver.

NEW HALF-DAY SPORTS CAMP
This new program is designed for youth ages 11–14 and will feature a different sport focus each week, providing participants with a fun and active environment to build skills, stay active, and enjoy friendly competition throughout the summer.
Sports Camp Information:
• Ages: 11–14 years old
• Dates: July 13th – August 17th, 2026
• Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Cost: $50 per week
• Maximum Registration: 20 participants
Registration for both camps opens June 15th at 1PM for week 1. Registration for all other weeks will open on June 16th at 1pm.
Spots are limited and expected to fill quickly, so families are encouraged to register early.
