The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is excited to welcome children back for another fun-filled season of our Community Services and Summer Recreation Program!
Returning again this year, the Summer program offers 8 weeks of engaging activities designed to keep children active, social, creative, and entertained throughout the summer in a safe and supervised environment.
We are also excited to introduce a NEW Half-Day Sports Camp for older youth, featuring a different sport focus each week.

SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM
Participants can look forward to:

โข Sports and recreation
โข Creative arts and crafts
โข Team-building activities
โข Special theme days
โข Structured programming balanced with free play
Each week is carefully planned to encourage teamwork, creativity, confidence, and opportunities to make new friends while exploring new interests.

โข Ages: 7โ11 years old
โข Dates: July 6th โ August 24th, 2026
โข Program Hours: 8:00 AM โ 4:00 PM
โข Drop-off: 7:45 AM
โข Pick-up: 4:30 PM
โข Maximum Registration: 50 participants
Program Fees:
โข $125/week โ First child
โข $110/week โ Second child
โข $100/week โ Each additional child under the same caregiver.

NEW HALF-DAY SPORTS CAMP
This new program is designed for youth ages 11โ14 and will feature a different sport focus each week, providing participants with a fun and active environment to build skills, stay active, and enjoy friendly competition throughout the summer.
Sports Camp Information:

โข Dates: July 6th โ August 24th, 2026
โข Time: 1:00 PM โ 4:00 PM
โข Cost: $50 per week
โข Maximum Registration: 20 participants
Registration opens June 15th at 9:00 AM.
Spots are limited and expected to fill quickly, so families are encouraged to register early.
