Public Service Announcement

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay would like to inform residents of changes to the bus booking windows. These changes will take effect on Saturday, September 13, 2025

Please see the changes below:
Weekday booking windows

• Morning 1: 7:00–9:30 AM
• Break: 9:30–11:00 AM
• Morning 2: 11:00 AM–12:30 PM
• Break: 12:45–1:15 PM
• Afternoon 1: 1:15–3:00 PM
• Break: 3:00–4:30 PM
• Afternoon 2: 4:30–6:30 PM

Note: Vehicles may operate slightly past the booking end to complete final trips and return to base.

Saturday booking windows

• Morning: 9:30 AM–11:30 AM
• Break: 11:30–1:00 PM
• Afternoon: 1:00–4:30 PM

How to Book a Trip

1. Download the app: Get the On Demand Transit: Rider app and enter transit code hvgb the first time you launch it.
2. Or use the web app
3. Confirm your account: After signing up, check your email for a confirmation message.
4. Book your ride: Select your pickup window and confirm your trip.

REMINDER

• You can visit the Town Hall front desk if you require additional assistance with setting up the On-Demand App and the Use Transit Platform.

• Residents with limited access to technology – internet, smartphones, or an email address – can visit or call the Town Hall during office hours for assistance with booking rides.

• After registration on the Use Transit platform, please DO NOT select any Fare Products or load a Custom Amount until you pick up an activated Transit Card from the Town Hall front desk during office hours
