The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay seeks to employ a full-time Engineering Technician reporting to the Director of Engineering.
As the successful applicant, you must possess the following:
- Completion of post-secondary program (Diploma or Degree) in Civil Engineering Technology
- Proficiency with AutoCAD software
- Good working knowledge of computerized systems and programs including Microsoft Office 365
- Valid Driver’s license Class 05 and a current driver’s abstract
- Clear Certificate of Conduct including RCMP Criminal Record Check, and a Provincial Court Check is a condition of employment
– Surveying, Road and Water/Sewer construction experience would be considered an asset
– Municipal experience would be considered an asset
.
Salary and benefits as per the CUPE Local 2019 collective agreement with the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay. The hourly pay rate is $39.81
