SEWER CLEANING – SPRUCE PARK AREA

The Town of of Happy Valley – Goose Bay wishes to inform the residents that the Public Works, Sewer and Water Departments will be starting the use of a high-pressure vacuum truck to clean the sewer mains in the Spruce park area of town starting today, July 30, 2026.  

The public is advised to be mindful when approaching or passing the vacuum truck, as there will be staff on the ground operating and staff may be walking to and from forward manholes. Delineators and pylons will be placed around working vehicles.

If a resident experiences trouble with their sewers during this time, please notify the town hall at 709-896-3321. 

Planned work in this area will continue up until August 14, 2026. This timeline will be subject to change, and updates will be provided.
