The Town’s Community Services and Recreation Department offers a variety of programs designed to keep children and youth active, engaged, and having fun throughout the year. Our programs provide opportunities for learning, play, physical activity, and personal growth in a safe and supportive environment.

Participants can enjoy a mix of sports, outdoor adventures, creative activities, games, and team-building exercises led by our trained and enthusiastic staff. From our returning Summer Recreation Program to our new Half-Day Sports Camps, each experience is designed to promote teamwork, confidence, healthy living, and social interaction while giving participants opportunities to make new friends and explore new interests.

This year’s summer programming includes both our returning Summer Recreation Program for children ages 7–11, as well as our new Half-Day Sports Camps for youth ages 11–14. Together, these programs provide a wide range of activities focused on recreation, teamwork, confidence building, healthy living, and social interaction.

Participants may enjoy a mix of:

• Structured programming balanced with free play
• Weekly sport-focused activities and skill development

Whether participating in a full-day recreation camp or a focused half-day sports program, children and youth will have opportunities to stay active, build friendships, learn new skills, and explore new interests while being guided by trained and enthusiastic staff.

Most programs take place at the E.J. Broomfield Memorial Arena depending on the specific camp or event. Registration and payment can be completed online through the Town website.
