🔔Remembrance Day Crosswalk in Happy Valley – Goose Bay

Ahead of the 2025 Remembrance Day, the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is paying tribute to Veterans with the installation of a unique and commemorative crosswalk in front of the Town’s Legion parking lot, off Hamilton River Road. The red and white striped design features the silhouette of a soldier and the phrase “Lest We Forget” on each end.

This design has been brought to life by the Town’s Department of Public Works, and the stencil was provided by Serco Canada Inc.

In gratitude and honour of our Veterans, this crosswalk will be a symbol of the courage and sacrifice of those who served.
