SEWER CLEANING CONTINUES

Public Service Announcement

The Town of Happy Valley – Goose Bay wishes to inform residents that the Public Works and Water and Sewer Departments will continue to use a high-pressure vacuum truck to clean the sewer mains in the following areas, as of today, August 17, 2026. 

Aspen Road

Hamilton River Road

Burnwood Drive

Cherrywood Drive

Loring Drive 

The public is advised to use caution when approaching or passing the vacuum truck, as there will be staff on the ground operating it, and staff may be walking to and from forward manholes. Delineators and pylons will be placed around working vehicles.

If a resident experiences trouble with their sewers during this time, please notify the town hall at 709-896-3321. 

Planned work in this area will continue until complete. This timeline is subject to change, and updates will be provided.
