Landfill Site-No longer accepting Paint Products

| Release Date: August 19, 2025 The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Department of Public Works advises the public that the landfill site will no longer accept paint products starting August 26, 2025. All paint and paint products will have to be dropped off at the Green Depot (Rodger’s Recycling) on Churchill Street starting on August 26, 2025. Residents must ensure that there is no garbage mixed with the paint products brought to Rodger’s Recycling. Rodger’s Recycling Hours of Operation: Mon: Appointment Only Tues: 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm Wed: Appointment Only Thurs: 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm Fri: 8:00am-12:00pm; 1:00 pm-4:00pm Sat: 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm Sun: Closed Mon and Wed: Bulk drop-off ONLY.
