Compliance Letter Request
The applicant shall submit a Compliance Request Letter, signed by the property owner or the property owner’s representative, to the Engineering Technician (muntech@townhvgb.com). The applicant shall submit the application fee for Compliance Letters as per The Town Of Happy Valley-Goose Bay’s Finance Policy# F0005. If applicants want a complete Compliance Letter, they shall submit a RPR (must be legible and clear, partial or spliced copies will result in an inconclusive letter) for the site that has been produced by an NL Land Surveyor. The RPR must show all structures. The RPR must be no older than two (2) years.
RPR’s older than two (2) years, but not older than fifteen (15) years, will be accepted if accompanied by a Statutory Declaration signed by the landowner, indicating the RPR is an accurate and current representation of the property. If any changes to the property have been made a new or updated RPR is required. RPR older than fifteen (15) years will not be accepted. The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay will process a compliance request within 7 to 10 days of receipt of payment.
