FOR PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE TOWN OF HAPPY VALLEY-GOOSE BAY MUNICIPAL PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (2018 – 2028)

DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS AMENDMENT No. 1, 2023

The Town Council of Happy Valley-Goose Bay has approved Municipal Plan Amendment No. 1, 2023, and Development Regulations Amendment No. 1, 2023.

A Public Hearing to consider objections and representations on the Municipal Plan and Development Regulations will take place on the 6th day of December, 2023, at the Town Hall in the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay at 7 p.m.

In general terms, the purpose of these amendments is to permit the operation of a boarding kennel on Halifax Street.

Anyone wishing to raise an objection or make a representation should provide the Town Clerk of Happy Valley-Goose Bay with two copies of a signed written statement outlining the objection or representation not less than 2 days before the scheduled public hearing.
