Temporary Full-Time-12 Month Maternity Leave (possible extension)


The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is seeking an Accounts Clerk I Temporary Full Time 12-month Maternity Leave (possible extension)
Reporting to the Supervisor of Assessment & Taxation or their designate, the successful applicant, must or be willing to possess the following:
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in accounting (Town Suite would be an asset)
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software programs particularly Outlook and Excel
• Two (2) year College Office/ Business Administration Diploma or Minimum High School Diploma with extensive experience
• Driver License Class 05
• Must be able to provide a Drivers Abstract
• Must be able to provide a Certificate of Conduct
• Must be able to work independently and within a team environment

Salary and benefits will be paid as per CUPE Local 2019 Collective Agreement with the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Current Rate of pay is $29.48/hour 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
