Exciting News! Online Registration is Now Available!

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is thrilled to introduce online registration for the 2025 Summer Recreation Program! Parents and guardians can now sign up, complete forms, and submit payments online—quickly and conveniently!

For those who prefer traditional registration, in-person drop-off of completed forms is still available.

Program Details

The Summer Recreation Program is designed to provide children with an engaging and active summer filled with a variety of activities. Participants will enjoy a mix of outdoor adventures, sports, creative arts, team-building exercises, and special theme days. Each week is carefully planned to offer a balance of structured programming and free play, ensuring children have opportunities to learn new skills, make friends, and stay active in a safe and supervised environment. The program promotes teamwork, creativity, and confidence while allowing children to explore new interests in a supportive setting.

The program is open to children aged 7 to 11 years old and will take place at the E.J. Broomfield Memorial Arena. It will run for eight weeks, from July 2 to August 22, operating Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Morning drop-off begins at 7:45 a.m., and afternoon pick-up is at 4:30 p.m.

Program Fees

$125.00 per week – First child
$110.00 per week – Second child
$100.00 per week – Each additional child (under the same caregiver)

Traditional Registration (In-Person Drop-Off)

For families without internet access, registration can still be completed in person.

How it works:

Pick up a registration form at the Town Office or during Canada Day Celebrations at Kinsmen Park on July 1st at 1:00 PM.
Submit the completed form & payment at drop-off on the first day of your child’s camp week.
